About NSA Fort Meade High Performance Computing Center

NSA’s Fort Meade computing-center program includes the High Performance Computing Center 2 and supporting utility, generator and cooling infrastructure on the installation’s east campus. NSA broke ground on HPCC-2 in 2013 with completion scheduled for 2016, and the Army Corps of Engineers continues environmental review for related campus infrastructure. Published generator figures describe backup power, not operating IT capacity.
