About Equinix KL2 Cyberjaya

Equinix KL2 is a planned purpose-built IBX facility in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, located less than one kilometre from Equinix KL1 but treated as a separate physical project. Announced in May 2026, KL2 represents more than US$190 million of planned investment and is designed for more than 2,200 cabinets at full build. Equinix says a substantial portion of the facility will support advanced liquid cooling and targets 100% renewable-energy coverage from day one. The company has also secured adjacent land for future expansion.
