Scope and capacity
Shippingport Industrial Park is a Frontier Group redevelopment of the former Bruce Mansfield power complex in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, with data-center use planned alongside a new gas-fired power station. Project materials describe three 850 MW steam-turbine units, for 2.55 GW of planned generation, plus existing transmission, river water, gas and industrial infrastructure. The developer targets gas availability in late 2026 and PJM delivery around 2028–2029. The 2.55 GW value is generation capacity; the data-center building program, customer and IT load are not disclosed.
