Participants include Scala Data Centers as developer, Eletrobras CGT Eletrosul as utility provider, DigitalBridge as investor. Published specifications include 54 MW planned capacity, 4.75 GW future potential, 1.8 GW planned capacity. Development comprises Initial phase (preconstruction), Transmission access trajectory (proposed), Long-range master plan (proposed). Key milestones include Current reporting targets initial operations in 2028. (2028-12-31) and CUST must be in force by Portaria deadline. (2033-12-31). 525 kv grid interconnection — 1800 MW_demand_trajectory: New 525-kV line sections and 525/230-kV substation; ONS, ANEEL and CUST steps remain. liquid cooling zero water design: Sponsor design target; not operating performance. Permitting includes grid access technical alternative order for Data Center Eldorado do Sul (issued conditionally) and environmental and municipal licensing for Scala AI City (not yet filed in reviewed reporting).
