Meta’s Los Lunas data center campus began operating in 2019 and has expanded into a six-building development approaching 3.8 million square feet. Meta reported more than $2.5 billion invested in the campus, while Village of Los Lunas records describe an additional 2025 expansion and revenue-bond authorization for further development. Renewable-energy commitments support the campus, but contracted generation is distinct from operating IT capacity.
