AWS operates multiple data center buildings on a 142-acre campus along Scioto Darby Creek Road in Hilliard. AEP Ohio reports 328 MW of current electric load for the campus and plans a temporary 72.9 MW behind-the-meter fuel-cell plant to support additional buildings while transmission capacity is expanded. The city’s tax agreement required at least $200 million of investment and provides school payments tied to completed building area.
