Brookfield and NextEra were selected to negotiate a privately funded AI campus at DOE's Paducah site. The proposal targets more than 1.2 GW of compute, 1.8 GW of utility capacity, up to 2 GW of gas generation and 2.6 GW of battery storage, with full buildout by 2032.
